It is our pleasure to help students make the School of Worship financially attainable whenever possible. We are so thankful to our generous donors who enable us to do this!
Scholarships must be applied for by August 1st and are awarded no later than August 15th (the Financial Hardship Scholarship may be awarded earlier). All scholarships are one-time awards, cannot be deferred, and are automatically applied to tuition payments. All scholarships are awarded by the board of Living Light Christian Church and One Church Ministries. Your eligibility for a scholarship does not guarantee that you will receive one. Please note, applications for scholarships can only be considered after a student has completed an application for LLSOW.
Financial Hardship Scholarship
$1,000 - $6,500
- This scholarship is open to any student who has a level of financial need that makes affording the School of Worship impossible or very difficult (e.g., students from developing countries, or those who have gone through major or unforeseen financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 crisis). Students can apply by submitting an application indicating their financial situation, thereby showing their eligibility for the scholarship.
Musical Excellence Scholarship
$1,000 - $6,500
- This scholarship is open to any student who is excellent in playing their instrument. They can send in a video showing their skills on their instrument or voice. *Special consideration is given to areas of current need for the upcoming school year
Academic and Leadership Scholarship
$500 - $1,000
- This scholarship is open to any student. Students can apply for this scholarship by submitting high school transcripts, completing a short response to the question, "What is worship?" and writing about ways they have made an impact on their church and/or community through service and leadership.
